Phoenix landed on Mars



A good news for the community of space scientists and NASA enthusiasts. Ending a long journey from planet Earth, NASA's Phoenix spacecraft has successfully landed on Mars' north pole region. The Mars Phoenix Lander successfully deployed a parachute and then thrusters to manage a soft landing on its three legs. NASA scientists are very after this successful landing. The Phoenix spacecraft is on an important mission to search for signs of life in the red planet. It will perform various tests in coming days and scientists are eagerly waiting for the results of it's tests. Take a look at the images from Mars that Phoenix sent after landing.
