Atlantis is ready with Columbus

A new mission for building the International Space Station! The space shuttle Atlantis is to launch on schedule Thursday for a mission to the International Space Station after being cleared by a review of all elements of the flight by NASA.

Atlantis will carry the European Space Agency’s new Columbus laboratory to the International Space Station. The 23-foot-long Columbus laboratory has room for 10 experiment racks, half of which are reserved for United States’ use in exchange for launching the module. Link
