Stopping a Hot Air Balloon

These pictures are real. Look how a man tries to stop a hot air balloon from going away! Rick Ashby, 54, of Longview, Texas was taking part in a game which involved trying to hit targets on the ground with bean bags. Suddenly the balloon crashed. The female passenger in the balloon managed to jump to safety but Rick clung on, as he tried to hold it down. But is it possible to do so by a single man? We don't think so. Rick knew it and let it go, when he was 30 feet above ground. He survived the fall with both of his legs broken! Link
